My name is Shanks. I am a native speaker of English and journalist currently based in Poznan, western Poland.

For over 10 years, as an English language trainer, I have been teaching mainly corporate clients, including C-suite executives, from diverse backgrounds on all levels.

My current and former students highly commend my teaching style, which they say is interactive, interesting, and fun. I have been one of the most in-demand instructors at Berlitz Polska.

I focus mostly on conversations. I am adept at increasing student talk time. I am also proficient in explaining advanced grammar structures simply.

On a different note, as a journalist, my 15+ years of experience spans broadcast, online, and print media. I have copyedited and proofed thousands of varied pieces of text.

I charge PLN 150 for a 60-minute meeting. However, the first meeting is an orientation and is free. As for editing, the price depends on the length and complexity of the text.
