Michael was born and raised in London and has also spent time growing up in Wales. Michael studied History and Philosophy at University College London (UCL) before completing his postgraduate certificate of education (PGCE). After working for many years in the UK, Michael travelled extensively learning about the culture, history and traditions of other countries. He has spent the time living and working in Eastern Europe and can proudly say he loves the people, culture, food and language.  As a teacher, Michael is happiest to encourage learning through dialogue and develop curiosity among his students. He is committed to making each lesson a ‘learning experience’ where the subtleties, nuances and the gracefulness of the language are also taught to complement the grammatical and lexical foundations. Michael is highly adaptable and holds a British passport with a full clean driving license and no criminal record. He is ideally placed to work with families and as a keen composer and musician, he is able stimulate language learning through music.
