I have recently moved to Poland to live in Krakow after over 30 years working in UK manufacturing.



I spent the last 12 years of my career at Invicta Vibrators in Grantham, UK as Sales Office Manager. The company were introducing a new manufacturing system to the business when I joined, so my initial term at the company was to pilot the new system to suit the company’s requirements, write procedures and train the sales office team prior and during the launch of the new system. During the 12 years at the company, the procedures were modified to adapt to changes in the business environment, like for example Brexit or the pandemic; also new staff were being recruited, so my role as trainer was equally important as my role as the Sales Office Manager.



When I advised the company of my intention to move to Poland during this year, I began to train my successor and take on Logistics functions within the business due to staff changes. I moved to Poland in late June, but worked remotely for the company in a logistics support role and trained the new staff to take over this role. I completed my time at the company on the 30th September.



I would like to assist in some way in training business professionals in Poland with their language skills, hence my advertisement. I strongly believe in a personal approach to people, so I can adapt the level of proficiency, based on the individual’s knowledge and ability. I hope I can assist your needs in some way, whether it is in written or spoken language.



On a personal note, my parents moved to the UK from Poland after the Second World War in difficult circumstances. I was raised to speak Polish at an early age at home, so I am naturally bi-lingual, but also highly skilled in German and have a good knowledge of French.
