Hi, I’m Mickiey - pleasure to meet you!



I’ve been living in Poland for over a decade now, working with English tutoring as part of a corporation for the first half and as an independent contractor up to now, and I’m a great believer in doing things the smart way, not the hard way.



10 years of experience teaching ESL in Poland, specializing training business skills conducted in English. I teach all levels, from absolute beginners to near-native proficiency. I can accommodate certification training from FCE to CPE, language connected with a range of business subjects including HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Medical, IT, Sales, and so forth - or simply create some engaging conversation lessons to help you use English confidently!



Learning a foreign language is all about discovering how to express your thoughts in a way someone else will understand it, not unlike learning to use your own language! As we get older, we tend to treat language learning as a conversion from native language to a foreign one - and I think that’s where we have problems. I’ll do my very best to help you learn English the way I learned and continue to learn, from a native perspective. I’ll try to help you understand the language from a more "this word feels like the right one" point of view, rather than the more robotic "this word is defined as correct" side.
