Welcome!
My name is Alex, and I’m an English teacher living right here in Cracow. I have experience teaching all ages and levels, and with great results. I have been teaching English for 5 years in Poland, and I have been working in a language school in Opole until now. I am certified in the TEFL course, and I’ve studied law and ecology at the University of Saskatchewan.

I use a combination of tailor-made materials (prepared specifically for your needs), and resources collected from actually English media such as newspapers and online articles. 

My preferred method is direct , with minimal use of a textbook, but with an intense focus on the direct means of communication: speaking and listening. Naturally, a book may also be used if requested. I’m flexible!

I’ve helped students prepare for the Matura exam (basic and advanced), CAE certification, travel, or living abroad. I’m proud of the fact that my classes are quite relaxed and stress-free, as that’s how I learned best when I studied languages.

My accent is Standard American English , which is spoken by the majority of North America, and understood well by all English speakers. It’s probably the same accent as any actor in the last American series you’ve just watched :)

I can provide classes at my flat in  Prądnik Biały on Kuźnica Kołłątajowska .

I provide services connected with the revision and editing of papers for school, work, or for personal purposes. I am also fluent in the Chicago, MLA, and APA styles of citation. References from happy customers will happily be provided.
