Hello! I’m Julian. I am from South Africa. I have a TEFL Diploma and I specialise in Business English, Job Interview Preparation and Conversational Fluency . I have helped students pass their job interviews as well as speak confidently and fluently in a business setting. I teach within the context of highly engaging conversations and real-life tasks. I develop a learning plan for my students so that I can effectively measure their progress from lesson to lesson.

At the beginning of our classes, I begin with a short speaking activity. This can be in the form of an Amazon review or you making a story with only a few words. I always use a variety of materials in my classroom to keep the lessons fresh and engaging. I use news articles, podcasts, stories, worksheets and other materials so that you can practice the language you need to achieve your goals. I have been teaching online for the past 3 years. I have mainly taught adults who want to improve their Business English and pass their job interviews. I have taught with students who are in the medical, automobile, legal, IT, hospitality, banking and engineering industry.

Most of my students want to become effective communicators in their job, specifically in the way they express their ideas and opinions in meetings, presentations and negotiations.
