Having learned multiple languages myself, I’m well-aware of your needs and I want to equip you with the tools and tips that you need to succeed.

A little about me: I’m a native speaker from Canada and I hold an engineering degree and an MBA. From all the careers I’ve had, teaching languages in the last five years has been the most rewarding so far!

During the lesson
The duration of the lessons is 60 minutes, most of which is dedicated to speaking. Not only will you overcome any speaking barriers that you may have, you will also develop the confidence to express yourself in the most natural way! I will introduce and teach you how to use phrases and idioms naturally. I will also identify any grammar points that need to be addressed and together we will attack any weak points that we identify.

I believe my job as a teacher is to create an environment where learning naturally happens. The topics and materials covered in the lesson play a big part in this, which is why they will be catered to your interests. Another important aspect is that I set the pace of the lesson and my speaking to your level so that you feel comfortable and in control. I will also be taking notes and giving you feedback and suggestions on mistakes at the appropriate times during the lesson. My students find these little discussions indispensable.  

After the lesson
You will have access to the organized lesson notes on Google Drive where you can see highlighted mistakes, suggestions, and feedback from the lesson and complete necessary tasks. 

I am convinced that most of the learning happens outside of the “class room”, so the work you put in on your own time will be vital, whether reviewing the notes or surrounding yourself with English on a consistent basis.
