I’m a native speaker from Canada. I have a masters in English teaching and over 5 years experience teaching adults and children.

English is grammatically a simple language but has a lot of nuance, confusing idioms, and unwritten rules.To help Polish students understand English I like to have conversations about the English language. One of my favorite lessons is to talk about false cognates, words that sound similar in Polish and English but have different meanings. For professionals trying to sound more like a native speaker it’s also important to learn common cultural differences between American English and Polish.
