Hello,
My name is Catherine, I’m Tanzanian and I teach Swahili online.
Thanks to the support of friends, I got all the way to Polish!!
If you speak English at an elementary level, I will teach you to use Swahili from scratch, I will monitor your progress and adjust the material and lead time to your results.The goal is for you to learn the language, not to give you a lesson.
I promise that in a month, you will know how to greet, introduce yourself, construct sentences and explain about your day in swahili.

5/5My husband and I had seven online lessons with Catherine prior to a two-week trip to Tanzania. She was always well-prepared, providing us vocabulary lists, grammar information, and exercises. During our lessons we practiced both new vocabulary and new grammar. She gave us homework exercises each time, which we then reviewed in the next lesson. She patiently explained things that were not clear to us, and also paid attention to our requests, e.g. preparing a list of common shopping and travel phrases. We highly recommend Catherine as a Swahili teacher!
5/5Catherine is an excellent teacher. Her lessons are well structured and easy to follow. It is indeed true that within a month you'll get a good grasp of basic Swahili already. There is no need to search for a textbook while working with Catherine, she'll provide you with all the materials and explanations customized to your personal goals. She's very kind and patient. Very attentive to student's needs. Couldn't be better.
