Improve your speaking skills with conversation lessons!

I believe in tailoring a course to fit my student’s needs. Topics of interest will be your choice, but I will offer you many options.  During conversation lessons, it is my aim for students to speak as much as possible with notes being sent at the lesson’s end.  I enjoy teaching grammar and recommending new vocabulary according to frequency of use, and I am always willing to help with translating. It is my pleasure to recommend authentic listening material and literature if desired. In short, I will work to make your experience as enriching as possible.

Details about my experience

After earning my bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Michael’s College in 1999, I obtained my Vermont teaching license soon after. I then received my TESL/TEFL diploma through an intense summer program at Saint Michael’s a year later. My overseas teaching began in Dębica, Poland, where I gained years of experience teaching English to people of all ages in classrooms, business offices, and home settings. I spent the last several years in the U.S., where I taught ESL and mathematics in local high schools and worked at the Williams College Libraries.
