Hello!



I’m a native speaker of English currently living in Poland. After having taught ESL in the U.S. and EFL in Poland for a combined total of seven years, I’m currently offering speaking practice through individual conversation lessons online.



I believe in tailoring a course to fit my student’s needs. Whatever subject you’d like to cover, I’ll be willing to explore it for you. During speaking practice (conversation lessons), my main aim is for my students to speak as much as possible with the majority of the notes being given after the lesson via email. If you need grammar explanations, I’ll be ready to give them to you, and I’m always willing to help with translating words and phrases during the course of a lesson. In short, I’ll work to make your experience as enriching as possible and move you to the next level of speaking English.

My Background



After earning my bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Michael’s College in 1999, I obtained my Vermont teaching license soon after. I then received my TESL/TEFL diploma through an intense summer program at Saint Michael’s a year later. My overseas teaching began in Dębica, Poland, where I gained years of experience teaching English to people of all ages in classrooms, business offices, and home settings. I spent the last several years in the U.S., where I taught ESL and mathematics in local high schools and worked at the Williams College Libraries.
